Why the Grand Challenge Program?

The Grand Challenge Program is designed to prepare a new generation on facing and solving some of the world's biggest problems. This program helps incorporate five major competencies into the experience, service learning, global, interdisciplinary, entrepreneurship, and research; creating a wider perspective on global challenges. This program will help teach me how to face and view problems from many different perspectives, which will help me later on in my career and in life.
